Compact Flash (CF): This memory type is a small, removable data storage card that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.

microSD Card: This memory type is an ultra-compact, rewriteable data storage device that holds content without the need of a power supply.
Microdrive: The storage type is a miniature hard disk that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another. This drive is also compatible with a Compact Flash Type II slot.
miniSD: This memory type is an ultra-small, portable device that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
Reduced Size Multimedia Card (RS-MMC): This memory type is a tiny, removable data storage card that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
TransFlash Memory Module: This memory type is an ultra-small, semi-removable data storage device that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
Smart Media: Produced by Toshiba, this memory type is a small, removable data storage device that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
xD Picture Card: This storage device is a small, removable memory card for used storing digital photos.
MultiMedia Card (MMC): This memory type is a removable data storage card that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
Secure Digital (SD): Used in portable devices, this storage device is a removable data storage device that retains and transfers stored data from one device to another.
